亚马逊(美国)出版(AMAZON PUBLISHING)于2009年年底成立,目前拥有14个出版子品牌,是一个业务涵盖出版各个环节,产品包括纸质书电子书、有声书等多种出版形式的出版平台。亚马逊跨文化出版(AMAZON CROSSING)是亚马逊(美国)出版一个重要子品牌,主营外国文学的翻译出版。2014年,亚马逊跨文化出版事业部已发展为美国最大的外国文学作品出版商,总计翻译出版了29个国家19种语言的作品。同年,还在中国成立了专门的团队,负责拓展与国内出版机构的合作,希望翻译更多更好的作品介绍给海外,为中国文学的“走出去”添砖加瓦。到2016年底,亚马逊(美国)出版已经陆续将陈忠实、贾平凹等诸多中国知名作家的18 部作品纳入出版计划。 "Founded in 2009, Amazon Publishing has become an in-house full service publishing house for eBooks,physical books as well as audio books with 14 imprints covering almost every aspect of publication.Amazon Crossing, an important imprint of Amazon Publishing, introduces readers to authors from around the world with translations of foreign language books. By 2014,Amazon Crossing has become the biggest publisher of foreign literature in the US and books from 19 different languages and 29 different countries have been translated into English. To date, we have acquired 18 books of renowned Chinese authors such as Chen Zhongshi,JiaPingwa into English. A dedicated team has also been set up in China to continue our contribution to Going Abroad Strategy by sourcing more Chinese books to be translated into English.
