The latest installment of the 24-year-old franchise performed well in Latin America and Europe, but was in fierce competition with China against Japanese animation film "Spirited Away," which also debuted in the country over the weekend. Chinese audiences gave "Toy Story 4" 8.9 out of 10 on Douban.
